Behind ZDCN is a committed team structure designed to support good governance, effective programme delivery, community engagement, and long-term organisational growth. Our leadership and operational roles help ensure that ZDCN remains accountable, community-focused, and responsive to the needs of Zimbabweans in the diaspora.

Board of Directors
Provides strategic oversight, supports compliance with CIC regulations, and safeguards ZDCN’s mission of diaspora empowerment.

Executive Leadership
Executive Director
Leads day-to-day operations, oversees programme delivery, coordinates organisational priorities, and represents ZDCN CIC in external partnerships.

Operations & Administration
The systems and coordination that keep ZDCN running effectively.
These roles support finance, compliance, people management, administration, technology, and internal systems.
Finance & Compliance Officer
Manages budgets, reporting, financial processes, and supports adherence to CIC and governance standards.
Key focus: Finance, reporting, compliance, accountability.
Administration & HR Coordinator
Handles staffing, volunteer coordination support, internal processes, documentation, and organisational administration.
Key focus: Administration, HR, coordination, internal systems.
ICT & Systems Lead
Oversees digital platforms, data security, systems management, and technology integration for ZDCN’s work.
Key focus: Technology, systems, data security, digital platforms.
Programmes & Community Engagement
Programme roles focused on empowerment, youth, families, culture, and community support.
These roles help design, coordinate, and deliver ZDCN’s community-facing programmes across the diaspora.
Diaspora Empowerment Coordinator
Designs and delivers initiatives that strengthen diaspora voices, leadership, participation, and community capacity.
Youth Development Lead
Focuses on education, mentorship, identity, confidence, leadership, and skills-building for young people.
Family & Community Support Officer
Provides resources and programmes supporting families, wellbeing, community navigation, and social cohesion.
Cultural & Heritage Events Coordinator
Organises commemorative, cultural, and heritage activities that celebrate Zimbabwean identity abroad.
Partnerships & Outreach
Building visibility, support, partnerships, and volunteer capacity.
These roles help ZDCN communicate clearly, grow partnerships, mobilise resources, and support volunteers across programmes and events.
Communications & Branding Officer
Ensures consistent messaging, manages media relations, and supports design, storytelling, branding, and public communications.
Fundraising & Partnerships Manager
Builds relationships with donors, sponsors, councils, institutions, businesses, and partner organisations.
Volunteer Coordinator
Recruits, trains, supports, and coordinates volunteers across ZDCN programmes, events, outreach, and community initiatives.
